La Jolla, CA -- VestaCare, Inc. received approval from Blue Shield of CA to begin submitting 837 claims from Providers to Blue Shield. As Blue Shield transitions away from its existing paid clearinghouse contract with the largest U.S. clearinghouse effective November 1, 2010, Blue Shield's providers must find alternative trading partners that can support this connection.
